How it works and when to use it

The tip calculator helps you quickly determine how much to tip, the grand total, and each person’s share.

You can apply the tip before tax (on subtotal) or after tax (on total), depending on local customs.

Quick buttons (5%, 10%, 12%, 15%, 18%, 20%, 25%) let you test several scenarios in one click.

Rounding per person or total makes cash payments easier and avoids stray cents.

Comparison mode shows two scenarios (A and B) side by side to visualize the difference in tip and per‑person amount.
